Last spring we were busy in our studio painting two enormous bull sculptures for the Bulls in the City trail which took place in Birmingham this summer.

Painting two bulls was a creative challenge and it was great to see them both out on the trail. We started by creating a 2D design then begun by drawing it out onto 3D sculpture. Then on to the acrylics-a few base coats to make a lovely smooth colour surface and finally adding in all the little details-quite a lot of them on theses designs!
